Went ahead and asked for permission, and they won't be able to temporarily go home like I had planned here, but the backup is that there's a mini-psychic-timey-whimey-explosion in the TARDIS (gosh, deus ex machina!TARDIS) and those caught in the vicinity will get their memories fast-forwarded to the finale (or whenever you want to take your character from). They'll be otherwise unharmed, except for the Doctor, who will have many more reasons to emo. Questions/Thoughts/Concerns? Sound good? Sound bad? Who needs canon updates anyway?

Right, then! So, hullo, me! I'm here in the TARDIS' console room, recording myself a message, because, well, all the things that go on in my head, it isn't entirely too surprising when things slip away, or hide under rocks, or slip away and hide under rocks. Any combination of those. And, really, I can't be expected to go fishing for every single forgotten thought, can I? Otherwise I'd be spending the better part of a day abandoning good ideas to remember things like whether or not I've checked on the monkeys lately, or how many biscuits we've got left in the kitchen before I've gotta make a new batch, or, I don't know, where someone's gone and hidden the tea again--

What do we say to a canon update in the next couple of weeks? :3

I was thinking that the Doctor could magically figure out how to repair the hole in the TARDIS, which would cause the TARDIS to go into lock-down and transport the season four-y people back home temporarily to get updated. Then, you know, they'd be back at the Island for their usual zany hijinks, etc.

We'd have to ask for mod permission, of course, but I figured we could hammer out the details first before I go ahead and ask -- I'm mostly concerned about what point we should be fast-forwarding everyone to; I'd like to take the Doctor from the very end of season 4, but we could, theoretically, take everyone from the point when they've towed Earth back to its proper place.

Up for it? Yes/No/THE LAST FIFTEEN MINUTES DO NOT EXIST/Oh, Noodle, you're so weird--? And no, you don't have to update if you don't want to--!
